Significance of the Program

The Bachelor of Engineering Program in Mechanical Engineering for Design and Innovation (International Program) (Revised Curriculum 2024) is a curriculum that provides knowledge about applying mathematics and physics in the analysis and design of tools, machinery, equipment, and products, considering both mechanical performance principles and user requirements. This program creates designers based on mechanical engineering principles integrated with creative design, including manufacturing process technologies and innovations in related fields, focusing on advanced engineering computational techniques that aid in design.

Graduates of this program are developed with knowledge in science and technology, including business needs and processes, through:

·               Educational collaboration with industry

·               Project-based learning

·               Joint research with various universities abroad

·               English-medium instruction that enhances language skills for international communication and collaboration

·               Graduates are prepared to learn and can work immediately upon graduation, with high potential for self-development in both academic and professional aspects. They can integrate various learned skills to work in industrial sectors including:

·               General manufacturing industries

·               Service industries

·               High-technology industries both domestically and internationally

The program enables graduates to combine their technical expertise with practical business understanding, equipping them to adapt to various work environments through their comprehensive skill set.

Program Objectives

The Bachelor of Engineering Program in Mechanical Engineering for Design and Innovation (International Program) (Revised Curriculum 2024) is designed to produce engineers capable of practicing in regulated mechanical engineering professions, with a special emphasis on mechanical design process skills. Mechanical engineers graduating from this program can achieve the following objectives:

1.          Able to design, analyze, and synthesize engineering solutions, with the potential for advanced studies in specialized fields or work as research assistants both domestically and internationally.

2.          Possess logical and creative thinking abilities, capable of systematic thinking, planning, and problem-solving, and able to integrate and apply various knowledge and skills to practice in mechanical engineering or related fields in the industrial sector.

3.          Proficient in using computers, problem simulation software, and engineering calculation software.

4.          Able to communicate effectively at an international level.

5.          Demonstrate professional ethics, ability to work in teams and communicate well with others, possess moral principles and engineering professional ethics, and show responsibility towards society and the environment.
