 International Welcome Party Brings Together Students from Myanmar, Bhutan, and France

On Friday 12 July 2024 16.300 – 19.30 pm, the Faculty of Engineering hosted an exciting International Welcome Party that celebrated cultural diversity and fostered new friendships among students. The event saw a vibrant mix of full-time engineering students from Myanmar and Bhutan, as well as exchange students from France, all coming together for a night of fun, food, and games.

The atmosphere was lively with a delightful array of foods, including traditional Thai dishes such as barbecue, som tam (spicy papaya salad), grilled chicken, sticky rice, grass jelly, and ice cream. These culinary delights provided a taste of local culture and were a hit among the international attendees.

In addition to the delicious food, the party featured various games designed to encourage interaction and build relationships among the diverse group of students. These activities not only provided entertainment but also helped break the ice and create a sense of community.

The International Welcome Party was a resounding success, leaving everyone with lasting memories and new friendships. It was a perfect start to the academic year, setting the stage for a supportive and inclusive environment where students from different backgrounds can learn and grow together.
