UKRRIN Prof. and TU Delft Prof. visited KMUTNB and Techno Park to discuss railway education and research.

Prof. Clive Roberts from Department of Electronic, Electrical and Systems Engineering, Birmingham University,  and Director of the Birmingham Centre for Railway Research and Education Lead for the UK Railway Research and Innovation Network.  Prof.Dr. Rob Goverde, professor of Railway Traffic Management & Operations at the Department of Transport & Planning, and Leader of the Railway Systems theme of the TU Delft Transport Institute. 

visited the Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. Prof. Somrerk Chandra-ambhorn, vice president of research and innovation welcomed both professors. Asst. Prof. Dr. Wanlop Kittisatorn and Asst. Prof. Dr. Tanaporn Rojhirunsakool presented the Thailand railway research network and research projects from Reinventing University.

Then, bringing professors to see the railway-related laboratory at Techno Park, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattapong Makaratat, Assistant to the President for the University’s Environmental and Physical Development, welcomed and presented the railway signal system, and railway system training facilities.
