Congratulations on your admission to the faculty of engineering

You are thrilled now and I know you are looking for the next steps to coming in as a freshman.

Here is a list of frequently asked questions:

 

  1. I am on the list of eligible candidates for admission. What am I going to do next?

      Ans: 1. Send the confirmation email to ciep@eng.kmutnb.ac.th that you are confirmed for admission.

               2. In case of scholarship recipients and paid admission, CIEP staff will issue you the acceptance letter to apply for the visa (if needed) and  

                   immigration.

  2. I am on the waiting list, what should I do next?

       Ans: Waiting list candidates will be promoted to get a scholarship when the scholarship recipients deny his/her admission. You will get a promotion and CIEP staff will then contact you. However, if there is no scholarship recipient deny, you are still be admitted to the faculty and need to self-support for tuition fees.

3. Do faculty offer other scholarships apart from the tuition-waived scholarship?

     Ans: The departments also offer for academic excellence scholarships. However, you need to pay the tuition fee first, then after the grades are announced, you need to submit the transcript to the department. The department committee will select the scholarship recipients and will reimburse the tuition fee back to the students. This academic excellence scholarship offers full and partial tuition.

4. Do the faculty or department offer work such as teaching assistants or research assistants for freshmen?

      Ans: We do not offer such work for freshmen.  You are legally prohibited from engaging in any form of employment while on ED Visa.

5. If I do not receive the tuition-waived scholarship, how much is the tuition fee I need to pay?

      Ans: The tuition fee is 60,000 baht/semester plus medical/accidental insurance.
